Corrections come first

This site is built on published specifications, and specifications change. If a wattage, a dimension, a capacity claim or an extension figure here is wrong or out of date, we want to know — and the editorial policy commits us to fixing it quickly and noting the correction visibly on the page.

A link to the source is the single most useful thing to include. It turns a report into a fix.

What else we are glad to hear about

• A product we have missed that genuinely belongs in a comparison.
• A page that is confusing, or that answers a different question from the one it promises.
• A dead source link.
• An arithmetic result that does not reproduce when you redo it.

What we cannot help with

We cannot diagnose a sick bird. Peep & Pen is not a veterinary resource and nothing here is veterinary advice. If a bird is lethargic, not eating, breathing oddly, losing condition, or if several birds are affected at once, that is a call to a veterinarian or your state poultry extension office — the latter is free, genuinely expert, and something most keepers do not know exists.

We also cannot advise on local ordinances. Whether you can keep hens, how many, and whether a rooster is permitted is set by your city or HOA, and it is worth ten minutes of checking before you buy any birds.
